SUMMARY

Jitta has built investment products people trust with their own money — Jitta Wealth (iOS/Android), Jitta App, Jitta Card, and our web platforms. Those products have grown fast, and we're now investing in quality as a discipline of its own to match that scale.

This isn't a role where you execute someone else's test plan. You'll shape that discipline itself — working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Mobile, Web, and xAPI tech leads as a peer, in the room when release calls get made, not a downstream checkpoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Strategy & Process

• Own the test strategy across products: coverage maps, risk-based prioritization, and honest trade-off calls on what we test — and don't
• Design and own the QA operating system end-to-end — how work enters QA, how testing runs and gets signed off, how defects are triaged and tracked, how releases are gated with clear evidence, and how QA stays in the loop from minute one when an incident happens
• Plan with honest buffers and surface capacity risk early — we run a sustainable pace and treat early bad news as good engineering

Test Automation

• Own and scale our mobile automation suite (Maestro) toward reliable regression coverage, wired into CI/CD yourself
• Bring strategy to our web testing: the Jitta Wealth webapp already runs on an automated suite built up over years of shipping. You'll give it a unifying strategy — define the principles (what we cover, at which layer, to what standard), build on what's there, and extend coverage to our growing WebView mini-app platform
• Set the bar for automation health: what gets automated, what stays manual, and how flaky tests get diagnosed and killed fast

AI-Native QA Practice

• Build reusable prompts, skills, and agent workflows for test design, generation, and maintenance
• Tune and iterate when AI output misses — make AI leverage a standard part of the QA craft, where each round of work makes the next one faster

Team & Collaboration

• Mentor and coach QA team members with a concrete growth path toward senior level
• Own QA team planning and OKR alignment: quarterly planning, work assignment, and priority calls aligned with Nexus OKRs — the Engineering Manager sets direction with you, not for you
• Report progress, capacity, and risk to the Engineering Manager in decision-ready form — status and early warnings arrive before they're asked for
• Act as the quality counterpart to tech leads — pushing back on risk and negotiating release scope as a peer
